Sometimes less is more, and this holds particularly true in sports....and again, even more true in the sport of functional fitness and CrossFit. Young and old athletes alike often train UNINTENTIONALLY and WITHOUT A PLAN, often doing extra volume that what is required and causing more harm than good.
What are we talking about? We are talking about causing burn out (both mental and physical), increasing risk of injury, disrespecting strength progressions and failing to make necessary sacrifices for 'growth'.
